Live Writer is a great free alternative to using Word 2007 and much easier than using the online editors built into most blogs. It doesn’t give you the picture editing or text layout capability of Word 2007 nor the ability to control your categories. However it does allow you to create your post with your CSS styles already applied which Word 2007 doesn’t have. After using both, I think Word is a little better but either one is a vast improvement over typing your posts online!

Very cool stuff. For those that don;t have Word 2007, Microsoft also makes the program Windows Live Writer for doing the same. Not sure what the differences are.
